SEO Tips & Tricks – Web Design & Development

My name is Ryan Jennings of Kansas City, MO.   I am the author and owner of InternetOptimizers.com I have been in the Information Technology Industry since 1998.  I went to Graceland University in Lamoni Iowa where I graduated with a double major in Business Administration & Information Technology.  I have previously been the owner of E-Commerce Solutions, Inc. a small web hosting and design consulting group targeting mid-to-small businesses with a dream to sell their products online. I have also been a Project Manager at the TechSolutions Group of Burns and McDonnell Engineering Firm.  My career took a brief dip outside the IT Web world in 2004 when I purchased a local independent owned restaurant called Suzi’s Casual Dining.  We showcased live blues and jazz a few nights a week and were best known for Kansas City’s best Pan Fried Chicken which was a legacy past down through Suzi from ‘Boots & Coats’.  After a little over a year in the Restaurant business I was more than ready to dive back into my passion of “Opening the Doorway to Online Success, With a Key that’s in Your Budget!”

I spent some time working on a very successful E-Commerce initiative at All About Doors and Windows with Rory Snow and Stephan Miller.   Working with Magento opened my eyes up to a whole new world of pros and cons regarding Open Source software development and implementation.

In 2009, I was the Web Technology Director at Crossover Graphics - CGP Marketing in Overland Park KS.  Where I had the opportunity to manage a dedicated Web Marketing and Development initiative for a very large biotech company, headquartered in France, called bioMerieux.  I also managed the website design/development for several of Ephren Taylor’s pet projects/dot.com startups.  Ephren is the CEO of City Capital Corporation.

I am currently the SEO Division Manager of an Overland Park KS Web/Software company called Amdia Software.  Amdia is owned by the Route66 RV Network and provides several web, software and marketing services to over 140 RV dealers nation wide.  The SEO division of Amdia is starting to blossom by expanding its services to clients and businesses outside the RV industry.  We are proving to be a powerful force when it comes to SEO.

A few past projects that I would love to share are: BarterKC.com “Where Kansas City Comes to Barter!” and a couple Magento storefront housing over 20,000 product sku’s each:  Door and Window Parts and Multipoint Locks .  Another project that touched close to the heart is for an MMA Apparel Company called Hillbillyfightwear.com owned by siblings Brian Imes, Brad Imes and Annie MacDonanld.

I have also had the joy to share the experience of helping a good friend and local-former Olympian Doug Lytle launch his state of the art Pole Vault Training Facility Xtreme Athletics KC.  Doug also owns a local cabinent company Olympic Cabinents.
